Amarou AW is Managing Partner at A&A Strategy and Chairman of A&A Group. He has over 15 years of international experience in strategy consulting (at Mars & Co and A&A Strategy) across Europe and Africa.

Amarou has worked throughout his career alongside senior decision-makers—CEOs of multinational corporations, public and parapublic sector leaders in Africa, private sector executives, and international development organizations. He supports them in shaping strategy and delivering their most complex and sensitive projects. His combined expertise in strategy and project finance allows him to design innovative, pragmatic, and actionable solutions.

Amarou is a graduate engineer from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (Paris), with a specialization in economics, management, and finance. He also holds an MBA from École des Ponts Business School (Paris), specializing in technology and entrepreneurship, as well as a certificate in petroleum economics from the Institut Français du Pétrole. He is fluent in Wolof, French, and English.

Amarou is passionate about Africa and is committed to building bridges between governments and the private sector to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
